On Thursday, Aug. 14, AREA15 debuted Zone 2: The Terminals with a spectacle-filled ribbon-cutting ceremony led by CEO Winston Fisher, who cut through an oversized ribbon, flanked by elected officials, beneath the venue’s iconic red “A.” The event featured AREA15’s imaginatively costumed performers, dynamic visual effects and a sparkling toast alongside City of Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley, Councilwoman Olivia Diaz and community leaders.
Zone 2: The Terminals at AREA15 features dozens of newly installed, festival-style sculptures and vibrantly hued murals; Looper Bar, offering guests a fresh place to sip and socialize; new culinary options such as The Beast Mobile Food Trailer; and two new retail kiosks. In addition, Universal Destinations & Experiences’ first ever year-round, fully immersive horror experience Universal Horror Unleashed is now open.
Meanwhile, coming months will see the openings of more attractions, bars, eateries, retail experiences and the world-famous Boeing 747 from Burning Man, which is being reimagined as a dining and nightlife experience.
