“With 1923 LIVE, my goal is to keep the small lounge act era alive and well on the Las Vegas Strip,” said Bowman. “With the current emphasis on A-list headliners and mega-star residencies, the historic lounge rooms of yesteryear seem to be disappearing from the Strip. There is so much local talent deserving the spotlight, so this venue will be the new home for these sorts of intimate, live performances.”
1923’s second location occupies a large, inviting space decked out in Prohibition-style, 20s-inspired décor situated above Minus5º ICEBAR at Grand Canal Shoppes. In true speakeasy fashion, 1923 LIVE will only be accessible to guests receiving secret instructions guiding them to its cleverly concealed entrance.
