After sell-out runs at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe and across Australia, comedians Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh are bringing their award-winning wine-tasting show to Las Vegas for a limited run.
Part wine tasting, part stand-up comedy, IN POUR TASTE pairs a curated flight of fine wines with a fast-paced evening of hilarious storytelling, improvisation, and witty banter from a team of top-tier comedians. Equal parts sophisticated and silly, the show takes guests on a comedic journey through the world of wine — from its rich history to its quirks and stereotypes — all while audiences sip, swirl, and laugh their way through every pour. This fully immersive experience includes audience interaction, and a guided lesson in wine tasting led by an illustrious local wine expert.

Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh are two of Australia’s fastest rising and extravagantly overdressed comedians. Between them, they have performed internationally in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Indonesia, South Africa, New Zealand, and all corners of Australia, including shows at eight consecutive Melbourne International Comedy Festivals. Still just in their mid-20s the pair are making their presence in the comedy world known. They are winners of an Overall Best in Category Award at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Festival — the world’s second-largest arts festival, a Best Comedy Weekly Award at the Perth Fringe, and the Best Comedy Award at New Zealand’s Dunedin Fringe.
IN POUR TASTE promises a raucously great evening with the fastest-rising comedic duos who promise five wines and “at least five jokes” in this hilarious nod to wine knowledge and wine tasting.
