Fontainebleau Las Vegas will celebrate the Lunar New Year, the “Year of the Snake,” with a traditional Lion and Dragon Dance throughout the resort on Saturday, Feb. 1. The procession will begin with the “Dotting of the Eyes” ritual in the resort’s North Valet; and it will feature the symbolic “plucking of the greens” with a lettuce ceremony and multiple blessings to usher in good luck, prosperity, and protection for the year ahead.
Throughout the property guests will find festive décor, with a grand snake statue in the main lobby, various red banners hung near Chyna Club, and the high limit areas, and a fortune tree decorated with prosperous symbols such as citrus fruits and red envelopes.
