Keep Memory Alive will honor Jimmy Kimmel at the 28th annual Power of Love® gala on Saturday, Feb. 22, at MGM Garden Arena. Tickets are on sale now for the star-studded event, benefiting Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health at keepmemoryalive.org/POL.
Kimmel is the host and executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning talk show and late-night staple “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” known for its iconic comedy sketches and diverse lineup of notable guests. A seasoned awards show veteran, he has hosted the Oscars four times, the American Music Awards five times, and the Primetime Emmy Awards three times. A Las Vegas native and supporter of Keep Memory Alive, Kimmel returns to the event as an honoree after last taking the stage as a presenter at the 24th Power of Love gala.
The Power of Love gala is a vital platform to generate funds to enable the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health to find, fund, and facilitate the most effective and innovative research, treatment, and educational support programming for patients and their families affected by brain disorders, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, multiple system atrophy and multiple sclerosis.
Chef Wolfgang Puck, a supporter of Keep Memory Alive since its inception, will collaborate with chef Thomas Keller, the first and only American-born chef to hold multiple three-star ratings from the prestigious Michelin Guide, to craft an exclusive menu. The menu will be paired with exceptional wines curated by master sommeliers from Southern Glazer’s Wine, Spirits & Beer of Nevada.
Keep Memory Alive Co-Founders Larry and Camille Ruvo will also present the Community Leadership Award to Lovee and Bob Arum. As the founders of Top Rank, the world’s leading boxing promotional company, the Arums have not only revolutionized the sport, but have also demonstrated an extraordinary philanthropic commitment to Keep Memory Alive and numerous other nonprofit organizations.
