Extravaganza to Include Live Performances, Authentic Artifacts on Display, Elvis-Inspired Food, Drink Specials, More
The Composers Room Showlounge & Restaurant, poised as the premier destination for vintage Vegas entertainment in the Historic Commercial Center, announces it will host an unforgettable “Celebration of Life for Elvis” on Friday, Aug. 16. The occasion, which marks 47 years since the passing of the “King of Rock and Roll,” will honor Elvis Presley’s legacy with a variety of activities, live entertainment and limited-time offerings.
The celebration will begin when doors to The Composers Room open at 12 p.m., welcoming guests into an atmosphere filled with Elvis-themed decor and music. As attendees enjoy the lively ambiance, they can indulge in a variety of food and drink specials inspired by Elvis’ favorite flavors. The menu will feature unique creations paying homage to the “King,” including some of his most beloved dishes.
Beginning at 4 p.m. at the Tavern Stage, members of the band Elvis is a Punk Rocker will encourage all fellow Elvis impersonators and enthusiasts to come on stage and sing with the band. Immediately after at 5:30 p.m., Elvis is a Punk Rocker will perform an enthralling set of Elvis songs with a unique rockabilly twist.
At 7 p.m., the event will feature an electrifying performance by renowned singer Pete Vallee as Big Elvis. Guests can sing along to their favorite hits and relive the magic of Elvis’ unforgettable stage presence. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the venue and view authentic artifacts and memorabilia from Elvis’ tours, which tell the story of his incredible career and lasting impact on music history.
