To celebrate shareWESTSIDE’s first three months of residency, Cherry Development will hold “Meet Us at the Westside,” a special Third Thursday block party and open house at the new apartment building on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Meet Us at the Westside is open to all residents of the three shareDOWNTOWN apartment buildings (Arts District, Fremont East, and shareWESTSIDE) as well as downtown Las Vegas community members (all ages). RSVP to attend the free community event is requested online at www.sharedowntown.com.
Held in shareWESTSIDE’s parking lot and open-air courtyard, the event will feature numerous local small businesses and vendors curated by Holoholo Market, known for its Pacific Island focused markets held at Fergusons Downtown.
There will be more than a dozen retail and dining vendors, including two vendors that will be food & beverage tenants at the adjacent food hall, The Good Word Social Club currently under construction by Cherry Development. At the Sept. 17 event, Tappy Hour will be providing a cash bar and lounge experience, and The Holliday Bistro Kitchenby Chef Gaston White will be serving its elevated Cajun fare.
Other vendors include Keep it Hapa, a North Las Vegas micro bakery selling homemade sourdough baked goods and Tofu Tees, a clothing company founded in 2016 by then 8-year-old activist and artist, Kumei Norwood.
Also at the event will be the clothing brand Sweet Taste of Success, which was founded by Zu’myrun Haywood, the son of local artist Courtney “Yard$” Haywood who installed the murals on the exterior of shareWESTSIDE with Iandry Randriamandroso.
The event will also feature live entertainment by Mr. Martin Music, a Las Vegas performer who combines live piano, DJ sets, and stand-up comedy into one seamless, high-energy experience.

Tours of shareWESTSIDE’s apartments and its amenities, including a fitness center with yoga room, movie screening room, and co-working space will be available for interested guests at the Sept. 17 event.
