The annual Battle for Vegas will return this summer, and two important leaders are ready to command their squads once again.
Organizers announced that the 2026 charity softball match is set for Saturday, June 27, at Las Vegas Ballpark in Downtown Summerlin.
Reilly Smith of the Vegas Golden Knights and Brock Bowers of the Las Vegas Raiders will return to lead their respective teams.
Last year was Bowers’ first time leading the Raiders’ side, while Smith last captained the Golden Knights’ team in 2023.
Players from the Golden Knights and Raiders are expected to join them for a night of competition, entertainment and giving back. This year’s beneficiary is the Battle For Vegas Foundation, with specific nonprofit recipients to be announced at a later date.
Gates will open at 6 p.m., and the Home Run Derby sponsored by the Athletics is scheduled for 7 p.m. First pitch for the softball game is set for 8 p.m.
There will also be a flyover and postgame fireworks sponsored by Century Gaming Technologies.
Since its launch in 2019, the Battle for Vegas has raised more than $1.2 million for local nonprofits.
Tickets start at $40 and go on sale Thursday, May 21, via Ticketmaster.com. Visit battleforvegas.com to learn more.
